Another Happy Customer

This Email was sent to General Manager Ed Keady
Dear Ed,
Recently I purchased a 2007 Cayman S from Hendrick Porsche and wanted to say how satisfied I was with the experience. Steve Mann was my sales agent and truly went out of his way to assist me with this purchase, even to the point of coming in on his day off to accommodate my schedule. I live in Canada and was somewhat apprehensive about purchasing a vehicle sight unseen, but Steve accurately described the car to me and made me feel comfortable with this transaction. Steve Mann treated me in a friendly, professional manner and I would like to thank Steve and the staff at Hendrick Porsche for making this a great experience.
Sincerely

Sid Wasitis

Porsche Named Top Prestigious Luxury Automobile

ATLANTA, May 14, 2008 – For the fourth year running, America’s most affluent consumers have declared Porsche the most prestigious car available today. The Luxury Institute’s 2008 independent nationwide survey of luxury auto brands rated Porsche tops against eleven of the world’s most prestigious car brands. Lexus and Mercedes ranked second and third, respectively.

The Luxury Institute conducted an online survey of more than 1,600 American consumers – with an average income of $349,000 and average net worth of $3.7 million. This year’s survey respondents strongly associated Porsche with its stellar performance reputation, summing up their top choice as “world-class sports cars for the true connoisseur.” The proprietary 2008 Luxury Brand Status Index survey is the only measure of the reputation of leading brands among wealthy Americans.

“The Luxury Institute’s surveys are impartial and objective,” said Milton Pedraza, CEO of the Luxury Institute. “Our surveys inform luxury CEOs on the health of their brands in no uncertain terms so they can take action to enhance relationships with prospects and customers.”

“Customer perception is everything in the luxury car market. This distinction helps us know that we are successfully delivering on our brand values in a very competitive automobile market,” said Detlev von Platen, Porsche Cars North America President and CEO.

The Luxury Institute is the uniquely independent and impartial ratings and research institution that is the trusted and respected voice of the high net-worth consumer. The Institute provides a portfolio of proprietary publications and research that educates high net-worth individuals and the companies that cater to them on leading edge trends, high net-worth consumer rankings and ratings of luxury brands, and best practices. The Luxury Institute also operates the Luxury Board (www.luxuryboard.com), the world's first global, membership-based online community for luxury goods and services executives, professionals and entrepreneurs. A happy Porsche Customer gives praise

GREAT JOB! Eric, Steve, Carrie and Quentin.

An Email from NEW Porsche customer Buddy Layman Jr. Follows

Ed,

I asked Erik for your e-mail address to pass along some comments on my new Boxster addition but more so for the fine service I got from your dealership. I had no idea that I would buy a car on Wednesday when I had dropped off my Z4 for service next door and just expected to look at a car that I had seen following an internet contact from someone at Hendrick.

I have bought lot’s of cars over the years including a number of Beemers, several Mercedes and many other European brands. I had never driven a Porsche but had ridden in my neighbor’s Boxster. I can honestly say after driving it to Winston today, I am blown away with how much I like it. But, on to the comments:

Erik Graziano did a superb job of showing me the car, answering my questions and generally making me feel at home in your dealership. When he was not available at the time I came in to sign papers and pick up the car, Steve made me feel equally at home and was very informative as to Porsche events and general information on the car. Carrie did a great job with making a process I hate very pleasant and prompt. And, your service manager greeted me and answered a number of questions. All were outstanding.

My wife and I have bought for ourselves and our daughters several cars from your Honda store, Lexus store and your MINI dealer serviced my MINI until I got the BMW.

In any event, my experience in business is that you generally hear from unhappy customers but not nearly as often from the other side. Thanks again for your very professional and enthusiastic staff. I look forward to being a long time customer.

Buddy Layman
