Porsche Certified voted #1 High Line Warranty

ATLANTA, May 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Porsche Cars North America's Certified Pre-Owned program (CPO) has been named by IntelliChoice - a leading source for independent analysis of automotive ownership costs and value - as offering the "Best Luxury Warranty for a Certified Pre-Owned program" in the U.S.
One factor recognized by IntelliChoice is Porsche's warranty for CPO cars, which essentially mirrors the German car company's new-car limited warranty coverage. All customers who purchase a Certified Pre-Owned Porsche receive a company backed 2-year or 50,000 miles (whichever comes first) warranty. Additionally, for customers who buy cars with a balance of the New Car Limited Warranty Coverage, this remaining balance will be added to the new Certified Pre-owned Limited Warranty coverage. Customers are only responsible for normal wear and tear components such as brake pads, wiper blades and regularly scheduled maintenance. Twenty-four hour roadside assistance is also included in the pre-owned package.
A prerequisite for the program is the fact that only the best used Porsches are selected as Certified Pre-Owned Porsches. These select cars then undergo a rigorous 111-point inspection, followed by a detailed reconditioning process by Porsche trained technicians whose goal is to bring the car back to new as close as possible.
"This award by IntelliChoice is a valued one since our goal is to create a very positive overall Porsche experience with these important customers, many of whom are just entering the brand," said Pedro Mota, Porsche Cars North America's general manager of pre-owned business. "Our goal with CPO is to make the pre-owned experience just as satisfying as the new car one."
Recognition from IntelliChoice is significant since it is the only automotive resource that ranks and evaluates manufacturers certified pre-owned programs, judging the best CPO programs based on criteria that it determines are the most important to customers, including such things as warranties, the certification inspection process, roadside assistance and customer service policies.

Gordon Wins at Texas
Johnson finished second to jump up two point positions scoring his third top five and fifth top ten of the season. Johnson led one lap and finished 0.378-seconds behind Gordon.
“Yeah, just very proud of the composure we kept today to fight through the ill handling car at the start,” Johnson said. “We just didn’t have it right for some reason. We made some changes last night, and yesterday the car was so comfortable and predictable, I think it took us a couple stops to kind of recognize that the track wasn’t going to come to us. And we did make some changes that we did need to last night. We had to get to work with tire pressure, wedge, track bar. We put stuff in, out, tried different combinations of those against one another. Finally at the end, we got it close.”
